Good Will Mystery, 2017 is a long-term project that began with a book I was trying to make, and then trying not to make. It developed into a site-specific fresco painting project at the L.C. Bates Museum in Hinckley, Maine, along with a series of performances, recordings, and other events surrounding the book. The fresco is permanently housed in the museum’s former print shop, where children from the Good Will-Hinckley Home were once taught printing and bookbinding as vocational skills.

The project was made with the generous support of the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
